Mr. Ryan Wade, Music and Chorus teacher for Grades 6-8 at Haviland Middle School in Hyde Park, is our final Teacher of the Month for this current school year. We could certainly see why the kids love him! Mr. Wade was nominated by one of his students, Lucy Curtis, who sent us a wonderful letter about Mr. Wade's dedication to all his students, which concluded with this clincher: "Mr. Wade inspires me to love music!"
Along with the Teacher of the Month plaque, Mr. Wade received a number of gifts, including a $100 gift card from TEG Federal Credit Union for the purchase of something for the whole class, a $100 gift card from Cosimo's in Poughkeepsie, Hudson Valley Renegades tickets, and since Mr. Wade is a big sci-fi fan, tickets to the Ultimate Comic Book Trade Show and Expo in September. Lucy also received some gifts to think her for her nomination letter.
