I have had the pleasure of emceeing United Way events for many years. What a terrific organization it is, as you all well know. This photo was taken in 2007, and now, in 2017, we're celebrating 80 years of United Way! This morning Michelle and I will be broadcasting live from the 2017 Community Breakfast at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel, celebrating 80 years of United Way!
At today's breakfast two Community Champions will be honored: John O'Shea and John Rath; and three Nonprofit Community Partners: the Catharine Street Community Center, HONORehg, and Legal Services of the Hudson Valley.
Congratulations and a big THANK YOU! to all the honorees! And congratulations and THANK YOU! to United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region!
(I'm looking forward to some of those great scrambled eggs at the Grand.)
