You know what....that's a great question, what DOES happen to the Christmas Trees that don't get sold that have already been chopped down?
According to the Christmas Tree experts, similar to the trees left on the curb after the holiday season, they're turned into mulch for farms and livestock and even fed to goats, yes....they'll eat ANYTHING, I used to own two!
I found this interesting that trees are broken down to create sand dunes built after hurricanes and restore coastal marshes. AND....for nesting for endangered birds and to improve fish habitats! Very fascinating, hope for you too!
