You’d think in this day and age people would know that it’s never a good idea to try and upstage a bride on her big day. Sadly, there are still plenty of people who didn’t get the memo. Well, now a woman is sharing that her sister-in-law did just that on her wedding day, by announcing she was pregnant.
A bride recently admitted on social media that she had a bit of a meltdown when her brother and his wife announced their happy news during the bride’s wedding festivities. The woman insists she loves her sister-in-law, and was actually happy when, a week before the wedding, the brother and SIL announced they were expecting their second child. What the bride wasn’t happy about was the fact that they said they planned to tell the family when they were all in town for the wedding.
"I'm going to admit, I was not pretty that night. I ugly cried. I shouted, and just generally pitched a fit and was really petty about the whole thing," she shared, adding that her mother didn’t actually see what the big deal was, although she thinks it's because her brother is her mom's favorite.
Despite the bride being upset, the brother and SIL started announcing the news right before the rehearsal dinner. What made the bride even more mad was that the couple was only five weeks along, and hadn’t even been to the doctor yet.
