Hudson Valley Honor Flight Benefit Concert a Big Success!

A fabulous line-up of outstanding performers graced the stage at the Historic Track in Goshen (a great place to see in its own right) for the America the Beautiful Concert to benefit Hudson Valley Honor Flight. I had the fun privilege of emceeing the event.

One of the first acts I introduced was the American Bombshells from NYC, who sang the National Anthem and other selections, including the Andrews Sisters' "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy." . . .

Here's our friend, Chris Caffery, from the Trans Siberian Orchestra, who played his guitar that night with the Jimmy Sturr Orchestra . . .

Under the HUGE flag suspended between two collector firetrucks was Brass Transit from Toronto, playing the hits from the band Chicago . . .

Here is Doug Ferony, singer and actor, who wowed the crowd when he sang with the Jimmy Sturr Orchestra . . .

Special thanks to Carl DuBois, Orange County Sheriff, for all of his help and for providing the Sheriff's Color Guard to open the Show . . .

And, of course, the mastermind and leader of the band, 18-time Grammy winner and Hudson Valley resident, Jimmy Sturr.

What an exciting and thoroughly entertaining evening it was and for a very worthy cause. For more information about Hudson Valley Honor Flight, click here.
