With my two 'littles' we did NOT have a gender reveal party....my daughter just found out and told us, simple as that. But the news went from simple to simply extravagant! The Mommy Blogger who 'invented' this tradition, shared her story, that it's not about the identify of the soon-to-be-born child, it's about the human themselves and how they will 'take on the world' with their own identity.
However, these reveals are very exciting....just as exciting as being told the gender of a newborn baby, or waiting until after the delivery :)
