If you guessed your phone, no...that's not it! Your keys, nope.....your CREDIT / DEBIT card, is the dirtiest, wait....filthiest thing in your purse! So, how nasty? The study tested a door handle at McDonald's and a NYC subway pole and researchers found that the credit/debit cards carry more bacteria. Makes sense...it really touches most surfaces, right?
Credit/debit cards received a germ score of 285, where cash at 160 and coins at 136....oh and a public restroom at Penn Station, a germ score of 165....I'm dying right now!!!!
