This is a serious occupational hazard of committing CRIMES in the winter.
A man and a woman broke into an apartment in Lincoln, Nebraska on Tuesday afternoon. And as the guy was stealing the TV . . . he slipped on some ice.
He BROKE HIS LEG in the process, and wound up in the hospital.
The police tracked him down there and, apparently, the break was so bad that he's going to be there for a while. When he's released, he'll be arrested.
The woman who robbed the apartment with him was a 35-year-old named Sherry Gomez, and she was arrested for burglary.
