A Father Who Was Born on a Leap Day Just Had a Daughter on Leap Day

I'm not sure if being born on Leap Day is something you'd find unique and cool about yourself . . . or something that would drive you crazy as a kid since you'd only get to celebrate your actual birthday every four years.

But either way, this dad is going to get to pass down lots of advice on living that Leap Day birthday life to his kid.

A couple in the Sacramento, California area had their daughter Camila on Saturday, which was Leap Day.

And the girl's father, Ivan Penaloza, ALSO has a Leap Day birthday. He was born on February 29th, 1988 . . . so he turned 32 on Saturday. Or eight, depending on how you want to do the math.

According to the hospital, the odds of a parent and a child both having February 29th birthdays is one in 2.1 million.
