SPARROW’S NEST OF THE HUDSON VALLEY VIRTUAL SUPERHERO 5K
Wappingers Falls, NY – June 3, 2020In response to Covid-19, we are reinventing the way we fundraise!Welcome to Sparrow’s Nest Charity’s 1st ever ‘Virtual Superhero 5K’.It’s an activity for you, your family and friends to take the challenge, where you’re guaranteed to feel good, feel accomplished and energize your mind, ALL to help feed a local family facing cancer!
Register to participate in our Virtual Superhero 5K and ask your family and friends to sponsor you through fundraising, while you set your site on your mission to complete your 5K (3.1 miles) anytime from the day you register through June 21st.
It’s all about moving!A Superhero can run, walk, bike, hike, skate, dance, golf, waterski, whatever makes you happy to achieve personal greatness! The Superhero that raises the most money for Sparrow’s Nest will receive a $200 American Express Gift card! About Sparrow’s Nest:
Founded in 2013, Sparrow’s Nest is a nonprofit charity, committed to helping families in many parts of the Hudson Valley with caregivers and/or children battling cancer. The charity prepares and delivers two homemade meals each week to families in Dutchess and Putnam counties and parts of Ulster, Orange and Northern Westchester counties.The goal of the charity is to give those battling cancer, precious time to concentrate on getting better.
