Hudson Valley to enter phase three next week

New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo Holds Daily News Conference Amid Coronavirus Outbreak
MID-HUDSON – The Hudson Valley counties are set to enter phase three re-opening during the COVID-Pandemic next Tuesday, but top county officials would like the state to allow them to move it up a few days earlier.
Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro said this is a crucial time of year for those businesses.
“We believe that advancing to phase three on Saturday would enable, certainly… the logic is to businesses, in particular restaurants to be able to benefit from an additional weekend. This is a very critical time for that industry,” he said.
Phase three will allow restaurants to reopen indoor dining, but at 50 percent capacity.
This Sunday is Father’s Day, which would typically be a busy day for dining out with family.
