GOSHEN – Orange County’s 911 emergency telephone system was off-line Tuesday night following the heavy rains and strong winds that rolled through the area during the day. Trees, utility poles and wires were brought down as a result.
All municipalities alerted their residents via email, social media, and robocalls that should they need emergency assistance, they should call their individual police or ambulance seven-digit service phone numbers.
