We could see one to three inches of snow

MID-HUDSON–As the remnants of Tropical Storm Zeta fade away, they could be replaced with snow. Forecasters are saying we could get one to three inches of the white stuff today.
Area utility companies have mobilized their crews in the event of storm damage. Snow on trees that have not yet shed their leaves could be a formula for downed power lines and outages.
NYSEG and Orange and Rockland Utilities have teams ready in the event of any problems.
The companies advise that people stay away from downed power lines. If a downed were comes in contact with your vehicle, stay inside and wait for help.
To reported storm issues in NYSEG territory, call 1-800-572-1131. In O&R territory, call 1-877-434-4100.
