Kingston murder suspect arrested in Fishkill

KINGSTON – Police have arrested a suspect in the most recent homicide in the City of Kingston.
Police said the victim, Erick Crawford, 38, of Kingston, was found shot – once in the torso and once in the thigh – on the sidewalk in front of 14 Liberty Street last Sunday afternoon, March 21. He died at the hospital a short time later.
An investigation ensued leading to the arrest of Truvock Noble, also known as Jeffrey Ali, who is homeless in Kingston.
On Tuesday morning, March 23, Noble was arrested in the Town of Fishkill with the aid of several police agencies.
Noble was charged in Kingston with murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the shooting death of Crawford.
Detectives are continuing their investigation into the motive behind the fatal shooting.
Assisting Kingston Police were State Police, Ulster County Sheriff’s and District Attorney’s Offices, Ulster and Fishkill Town Police.
