Cops Hunting a Guy Who Stole $12K Worth of Lynyrd Skynyrd Memorabilia

There's a 38-year-old guy named William James Walker in Orange Park, Florida, just outside of Jacksonville in the northeast part of the state.

And last month, he stole a trailer from a parking lot outside a Days Inn.

And inside the trailer was . . . about $12,000 worth of Lynyrd Skynyrd memorabilia. The stuff was going to be sold at a cancer charity benefit in honor of Jimmie Van Zant.

The most valuable item in the trailer was a 1957 Les Paul guitar signed by several rock stars, plus a whole bunch of other Skynyrd stuff.

The police are still hunting for William . . . and he's looking at a felony grand theft charge.
