It's Pay Day Where We "Bring Home The Bacon" Here’s Why Prices Are So High.

The pandemic is still tough, and if there's ONE THING that Americans can't handle losing at this point . . . it's bacon, obviously. So this is tough news to break.

If you haven't noticed, bacon is more expensive than it has been in the past 40 years . . . even accounting for inflation.

Supply chain issues are squeezing the pork market. Pork chops cost about 7% more than 12 months ago. And the average price for a slab of bacon has jumped nearly 28% over the past year.

Demand is soaring, but due to several factors, including the disruption to the supply chain, pork production is expected to close out the year 2% lower than last year.

And the prices aren't expected to come down any time soon. One expert says we could get some relief by NEXT summer.
