This guy's obviously a dope, but at least he wasn't HANGRY when he got arrested . . .

A cop in northeastern Louisiana was driving on Tuesday night, when a guy coming from the other direction failed to turn his high-beams off. So it blinded the cop for a second.  (It happened in Monroe, about 100 miles east of Shreveport.)

The cop turned around and tried to pull the guy over . . . 37-year-old Allen Seaberry. But Allen didn't stop, so it turned into a high-speed chase.

He went through a 25-mile-an-hour zone doing SIXTY at one point, and rolled through six stop signs in a row.

He finally pulled over when he got HOME. And when he stepped out of his car . . . he was holding a half-eaten HAMBURGER.

He told the cop he didn't stop, because he'd just purchased the burger and wanted to finish it.  (???)

He also claimed he couldn't stop because his brakes were out. They arrested him for fleeing police, and driving without a license OR insurance. And it turned out he hadn't shown up in court for a recent battery case.

They also tacked on a charge for not dimming his high-beams when he should have.  (The Smoking Gun / WKRG)
