I think it's great when people who don't drive finally decide to get their license. I'm just not sure I'd want to be in the car with them . . .

A 53-year-old woman in Boston recently got her learner's permit, and finally had the chance to give it a go on Saturday.

A family member let her practice in their Range Rover by driving around a cemetery . . . because at least she couldn't KILL anyone there.

But it looks like she still needs some practice, because she ended up losing control of the car . . . and plowed through eight granite HEADSTONES.

There's a photo of them scattered along the ground, and the Range Rover is pretty banged up. The whole front end is smashed.

Luckily, they're both okay. And she didn't run over anyone LIVING, so no one got hurt.

It sounds like it was an accident, but cops are still looking into it to see if they want to charge her with reckless driving.
