Here's the type of thing that can really ruin your day: A woman in her 40s was at a popular hiking spot on a mountain in Washington state the other day and needed to use the bathroom.
There's a spot near the top of the mountain with outhouse-style toilets. The same kind you see at a lot of campgrounds that are basically just a big hole in the ground.
And unfortunately, she dropped her PHONE in the toilet. But that's not even the day-ruiner we're talking about.
She couldn't just abandon her phone. So she decided to reach in and try to grab it . . . and ended up falling INTO the toilet HEADFIRST.
Once she was in there, she couldn't get back out. But she did have her phone again and was able to call 911.
She was still inside when firefighters got there, and they pulled her out. Obviously, she was pretty gross at that point. So, they helped spray her down, and gave her a clean white jumpsuit to wear.
They strongly encouraged her to go to the hospital since she'd been exposed to a lot of human waste. But she said she just wanted to go home. They say she's lucky she wasn't overcome by toxic gases while she was in there.
